"We love to cook and entertain, but our kitchen is cramped and drab. It's a little box within a maze." 

So we began the sensitive transformation within this 1920's Storybook Tudor home. It had sustained various "updates" over the decades, which added fuel to our creative fire. Our goal was to bring space, light, and function while honoring the architecture.

By relocating the fridge, ovens, and microwave more efficiently, a great deal more storage space was added - along with a new clerestory window.

Fridge (new and beautiful) moves to the new Kitchen, old cabinets removed, and the new space will serve two functions...

With the extra space, we reorganized and reimagined the laundry to serve double-duty as the Bar for the Owners' many social events.

A great new focal point from the entry hall, we created this special niche for one of the Owners' favorite pieces from West Africa.
